Welcome

I am a PhD student from the Engineering Faculty at the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile and a physical engineer from Universidad de Santiago de Chile. My supervisor is Dr. Rodrigo Cienfuegos, CIGIDEN Director. My interests are nonlinear dynamics, fluid mechanics, elasticity, and coastal engineering, especially soliton gas and rogue waves. My current research aims to understand the effect of soliton fission inside estuaries and its role in generating a soliton gas state.

Hobbies

In my free time, I dedicate myself to programming video games, an activity that allows me to combine creativity with problem-solving. I also spend time composing music, which gives me a way to express emotions and explore different artistic ideas, as well as modifying hardware and creating analog electrical effects. Another passion of mine is scientific outreach: I enjoy creating entertaining physics simulations and sharing unusual scientific curiosities in a way that sparks curiosity and makes complex concepts easier to understand.
